Workshop Updates, New Arrivals and Plenty of Servicing

It has been another busy week in the workshop with plenty of locos coming in for servicing. Some of them have been straightforward clean and oil jobs that moved through quite quickly, while others are waiting on parts before we can finish them off.

There has been a good mix of work coming through again, with quite a few N gauge locos arriving alongside a few OO gauge ones too. It’s always nice to see both scales coming through as it keeps things interesting on the bench.

A few new parts have arrived which means we can start clearing some of the backlog of repairs. It’s always a good feeling when those longer running jobs can finally move forward again.

Behind the scenes I have been talking layouts again and planning some improvements for the workshop setup. It’s not the most exciting part of the job, but having a good workspace makes everything else run much more smoothly.
