Workshop Update: Summer Holidays and Strong Runners

It seems to be holiday season for a lot of people at the moment — we’ve completed quite a few loco services this week that are now safely shelved until their owners are back from their travels. That said, it’s not been quiet here. Plenty of new arrivals have come in for servicing, which is always good to see.

It’s been especially great to see some of the old Minitrix locos still running strong after a good clean and service. They’ve even proved suitable for DCC conversions, which just goes to show how solid these little machines still are.

We’ve also had more Sonic Models through the workshop — they’re genuinely good fun to work on, and they do run nicely once serviced. Always satisfying when things go back together smoothly and perform well on the test track.
