Welcoming in the New Year and a New Way to Track Your Loco

It’s been a little while since my last blog post, so this felt like a good time to say hello again and welcome in the new year properly. The year has already got off to a busy start here at Platform Collectables, with plenty of locos coming through the workshop for servicing and repairs.

One of the big things I wanted to share is a new addition to the website. I’ve now added a Workshop Tracker, which allows customers to keep an eye on where their locomotive is in the process while it’s with me. From arrival through to servicing, repairs, testing and return, it should make things clearer and help give a bit of peace of mind while your loco is on the bench.

Behind the scenes it has also been a steady start to the year. The workshop has been busy as ever, and I’ve even managed to squeeze in a bit of progress on the layouts again, which has been a nice change of pace. There’s still plenty to do, but it’s good to be moving things forward bit by bit.
