Split Gears Striking Again

Two trains arrived for servicing this week, and both had multiple split gears—always a frustrating find, but nothing we can’t fix. We're just waiting on some parts, and once they arrive, these locos will be back up and running in no time.

Charity Challenge Update

Still pushing on with March the Month, and I have to say, it’s starting to feel great! It’s amazing what a difference it makes getting out and moving every day—definitely feeling healthier for it.

A Corroded Switch Mystery

Not much to report on the layout itself this week, but while going through some components, I found that one of the switches is quite corroded. I’m going to give it a proper going-over and try popping it in the ultrasonic cleaner to see if we can bring it back to life.
