Fleet Repairs, Returning Customers and a Busy Bench
The workshop has been buzzing again this week and it’s been great to see a mix of familiar faces and new arrivals. More and more fleet repair jobs are coming through the door now, which is always a satisfying challenge. There’s something rewarding about getting a whole batch of locos back into smooth running order, ready for their next outing.
We’ve also had plenty of returning customers sending in new locos for servicing and repairs. It’s always a good sign when people are happy with past work and trust us to look after their latest additions. Most of these jobs have been straightforward services, with the occasional repair needed to get everything running just right.
The variety in the workshop keeps things interesting — from heritage models with a bit of history to more modern locos in need of a tune-up. Every one has its quirks, and it’s all part of the fun of keeping them on track.
The kettle has had a fair workout too, but that’s nothing new here.
