Clearing Backlogs, N Gauge Progress and Auction Wins
It’s been a steady week in the workshop with plenty of servicing completed and parts finally starting to arrive. This means I can now start working through the backlog of locos waiting on repairs, which I know will be welcome news for a few eager customers.
There’s also been no shortage of N gauge coming in, and it’s been good to keep progress going on the restoration layout alongside the day-to-day servicing. Slowly but surely, things are taking shape and it’s always satisfying to see it coming back to life.
To mix things up a bit, we even took a trip to an auction this week. The prize? A batch of controllers. Some of these will be put straight to use on our own layout, while others will go through servicing and PAT testing before being offered for resale. A nice little way to give them a second life and make sure they’re safe and reliable for their next home.
