Back on Track After a London Trip
I missed last week’s blog as I treated myself to a rare day off with a trip down to London. It’s been a while since I last had the chance to ride the real thing, so it was a nice change of pace and a good reminder of where all this model railway passion started in the first place.
Back in the workshop, it’s been a busy time. One big change is that everything has now been moved back to a single address. Working between two sites was becoming a bit of a juggling act, and at the end of the day I can’t have two of everything. It’s already made life a lot easier and more organised having everything under one roof again.
On the bench, I’ve had a steady and consistent mix of both OO gauge and N gauge locos in for servicing and repair. It’s always great to see such a variety coming through, and it keeps things interesting from week to week.
All in all, a solid couple of weeks. A bit of real railway inspiration, a smoother way of working, and plenty of models in the workshop to keep me busy.
