Back in the Workshop After a Polish Adventure

I missed last week’s blog as I was away in Poland. It was interesting to see the variety of trains and trams over there—some really smart bits of kit. Since I’ve been back, it’s been straight back into the swing of things with a fair few loco services booked in.

One in particular might be a record holder for the most grease and grime I’ve ever seen in a motor. It was well and truly clogged, and took some proper cleaning to get it running right again. I posted a little update about it on a local forum, and in my usual rushed style I called it a “train” instead of a loco. I’ve also started to record some of my services, just simple videos to begin with so I can start putting together a bit of content. I think it’ll be helpful to show the process for anyone curious about how we bring these locos back to life.

On top of that, I’ve finally started listing some pre-owned items on the website. There’s still a lot to get through, but I’m working through the job lots bit by bit and we’re starting to get a good selection of second-hand stock up online.

Thanks for reading and I’ll be back again soon with another updat
